Water Design in Permaculture Systems
and Designing Keyline Systems Workshop

Who should attend: : Homeowners, farmers, gardeners, landscapers, architects, and anyone curious to learn more about water design.

This course is a must for anyone interested in developing a small scale Permaculture farm or learning how to increase soil fertility.

Hands-on and demonstration component will include using the tractor and keyline plow to contour subsoil aeration

This course will be taught by Tom Ward and Andy Fischer at Heaven and Earth Farm in Ashland, Oregon.
Topics covered in this hands-on weekend design workshop are:
  • Comprehensive whole systems approach to farm design
  • Yeoman's keyline system of water/soil development
  • Pond building and location on the land
  • Surveying and site analysis for water
  • Design considerations and planning for irrigation
  • Comprehensive whole systems approach to farm design
  • Erosion control
  • Shelterbelts

Course Cost: $220 includes tuition, meals, camping and course materials.
