Listening to the Land: Spiritual Connection in Design

Who should attend: : Homeowners, farmers, gardeners, landscapers, architects, students and anyone wanting to deepen their connection to the earth.
This course is designed to develop and promote permaculture design skills through observing natural patterns and flows of energy in the landscape.
We will develop our natural abilities to create beauty in the landscape by tuning into the needs of land.
Topics covered in this hands-on weekend design workshop are:
- Natural Systems as Models
- Finding the spiritual center of the land
- The caretaker model of land stewardship
- Observation and listening to the natural rhythms of a place
- Animal observation and signs
- Energy flow on the land
- Integrating observation skills and designing ecological systems

Course Cost: $220 includes tuition, meals, camping and course materials. Discount for early registration and couples.
